Getting there
Most visitors drive down from Arizona, crossing at the Lukeville–Sonoyta border. The drive from Phoenix takes about four hours; from Tucson, closer to three. A valid passport (or passport card) is required, along with Mexican auto insurance if you're bringing your own vehicle.
